Description and specific excellence
The Company, a member of the Siemens Group, designs, manufactures and sells transformers and high voltage condensers.
Founded in 1919 and employing around 170 people, it is situated in the town of Cairo Monte Notte. The premises cover an area of 63,500 m2 (7,000 of which are dedicated to production), and produce around 10,000 transformers each year.
Products, services, end markets
Products (all high voltage):
• Current transformers, SF6 gas-insulated, for 72,5 – 550 kV voltage
• Capacitive voltage transformers for 72,5 – 800 kV voltage
• Inductive voltage transformers, SF6 gas-insulated, for 72,5 – 550 kV voltage
• Condenser breakdown switches for both high voltage switches.
