Description and specific excellence
Ferrania Solis is involved in the production and sale of photovoltaic modules as well as designing and installing photovoltaic systems.
The Head Office is based at the industrial site of Ferrania, which until recently, manufactured photographic and x-ray products.
Partners of the holding company, in addition to the majority share held in various forms by the Messina Group of Genoa, are INVITALIA with a share of 4.2%. Share Capital = 7.2 M€. Turnover = 2011 20 M€ (18MW).
The activities of Ferrania Solis comply with the regulations set out in ISO 9001, 14001 and 18001, as certified by Certiquality; the recycling of the modules is guaranteed through the membership of recognized recycling consortia.
Production Capacity 60MW/year (250.000 modules/year)
A further guarantee of the quality of the products is the excellent performance results obtained from third-party laboratories and published monthly in specialist journals.
Products, services, end markets
Ferrania Solis performs:
-Production and marketing of photovoltaic modules in crystalline silicon
-Design, marketing and installation of photovoltaic systems
-Research and development for optimizing production processes; the development of new technology and its industrialization
The main market is Italy (around 90%) in the residential, industrial and public administration sectors either through the use of traditional or innovative systems.
Ferrania Solis aims to increase its export share from the present 10% to 30/40 %.
